This week we would like to bring the following very important matters to your attention:
All learners’ books, demarcation as well as exam time tables were handed out last week already. Please assist your child to prepare well for the exam, as it is the final opportunity to do well in their current grade. Also note that all text books MUST be handed in on the day the exam is written. All damaged and lost text books must be paid for at a fee of R250-00. The money will be used to replace the damaged or lost text books for 2019. Please make sure that your child is at school on time, not to miss the exam. Good luck to all learners with their exams. As long as you do your best, the results will be in your favour.
HOME TIME DURING EXAM TIME:
The school will close at 13:00 as from Monday 12 November. Please arrange your child’s transport accordingly. It is very important for children to be fetched on time, as there will be limited supervision available after school and we cannot take responsibility for children not being fetched on time.
A huge thank you to the parents who paid their school fees in full as per the school policy. Many parents made arrangements and they have honoured those arrangements as well. A huge thank you to those parents for honouring your commitments. Unfortunately some parents defaulted on their arrangements. Please note that those accounts, which are not paid in full by the end of business today, will be handed over to the Collection Agency immediately, without further correspondence, sms or any reminders.
Bullying is still a huge problem in most schools. Please speak to your children about being a bully and being a victim. Please note that we have adopted a zero tolerance approach towards bullying, and we WILL deal with perpetrators in a severe manner. Please encourage your child to speak up about being bullied in order for us to eradicate this evil amongst our learners.
