Newsletter #36

Dear Parents/Guardians

This week we would like to bring the following very important matters to your attention:

Our grade 7 learners started with their exams yesterday already.  Grades 4 to 6 will start tomorrow with their exams.  Please note that all exam time tables, books and demarcations were handed out a while ago in order for the children to be well prepared for their exams.

We are however, experiencing a huge amount of learners coming late for school.  Many of them are dropped off well before school starts, but then they walk to neighbouring shops to buy all sorts of junk food and sweets.  That is one of the main reasons for being late.  Please note that we cannot accept responsibility should anything happens to your child outside the school premises.

In our previous newsletter we urged parents to please make arrangements to fetch their children at 13:00 during the exam time.  Many learners are waiting on the pavement until late to be fetched.  Please parents, there are certain people roaming around the school waiting for opportunities to either rob or hurt your child.  It happens all over our country.  Please take this as a serious request to take responsibility of your child’s safety.  NO SUPERVISION will be available after 14:00, unless your child is enrolled in the After Care Centre at school.

Just a reminder that all outstanding accounts without arrangements were handed over for collection.  All additional cost will be for the defaulters’ account.  Once again, THANK YOU to all parents who paid their school fees regularly and on time.  We appreciate the fact that you take your responsibilities seriously.

I hope that you will have an enjoyable week ahead.

Kind regards
