PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS: Congratulations to our two star athletes who are going to take part in the Provincial Championships for athletics today and tomorrow. Thandolwenkosi Twala will be running in the boys under 12 race, while Siphesihle Mnguni will show her talent in the 60-, as well as in the 80-meter races. Both athletes are running under the Gauteng West team..

PUBLIC HOLIDAY – 21 MARCH: Please note that next Friday, 21 March is Human Rights Day and therefore a public holiday. There will be no teachers or support staff on duty, as it will be a long weekend. Please make suitable arrangements with the transport providers in advance, to ensure that they do not fetch children for school on the 21st. Enjoy the long weekend with your friends and family.

FETCHING OF REPORT CARDS: Report cards will be handed out on Wednesday 26 March during the last period.

POOR PERFORMANCE: It is with regret that I must inform you about the lack of interest in schoolwork from many children. I have seen marks for assessments where children get 2 and 3 out of 50 for an assessment task.

SCHOOL FEE PAYMENTS: A sincere word of thanks to our regular payers. Because of your payments we can still pay our dues every month. Thank you for honouring your agreement with the school. Your regular contributions are noted and appreciated. Please note that all accounts in arrears, without proper arrangements, are due to be handed over at the end of March.

ORDERING OF PHOTOS: Envelopes were sent home to give you the opportunity to order the photos taken during February. If you are interested in ordering photos, please tick the block next to the package you want to order, place the correct amount of money into the envelope and send the sealed envelope back to school. Please take note that the sealed envelope will not be opened by the teachers, but we will hand all envelopes over to the photographer.

CLOSING OF SCHOOL FOR THE ONE WEEK HOLIDAY: On 28 March the school will be closing for the Easter Holidays at 11:00. We are reminding you two weeks in advance to please make suitable arrangements for your children to be fetched by 11:00 on breaking up day, as we all want to start enjoying the well-deserved holiday.
