Announcements

Dear Parents / Guardians,

Time is flying by—another week has passed! Please take note of the following important matters for the upcoming week:

SCHOOL WHATSAPP CHAT GROUPS (2026):

You can join the school’s various WhatsApp chat groups by clicking on each relevant Grade’s below:

LEARNER RE-REGISTRATION:
In accordance with regulations, all learners must be re-registered annually. Re-registration will be sent home during the week. Kindly verify the information, update any outdated details, and return the signed forms to school as soon as possible.

SOCIAL MEDIA / WEBSITES, CELL PHONES ETC:
Please make sure you are aware of what your child is doing on Social Media (Facebook, Tik Tok, Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube etc.), should you allow them to have or to use a cell phone at home. We had several cases at school where children share inappropriate material with others. Please make sure you put blocks on their phones so that they cannot have access to any pornographic and other unwanted material.

LEARNER CONDUCT:
Final warnings were issued this week to several learners. While some are improving, others continue to disrupt classes. These learners were removed and placed under supervision, yet many remained disrespectful.

LATE ARRIVALS AND PICKUPS:
Despite repeated reminders, many learners still arrive late or are picked up very late. Alarmingly, some young learners (Grade RR & R) are dropped off or left alone without supervision. Please inform the school if your child will be late. Ensure transport arrangements are safe and punctual.

SCHOOL CLOSURE AT 13:00 FOR EXAMS:
You are hereby informed that the school will close daily at 13:00 for the duration of the Controlled Tests that start on Thursday 28 May 2026. All children must be fetched before 13:15.

RINGWORM CASES:
We have a few cases of ringworm. As this condition is highly contagious, please keep affected learners at home and seek treatment from your local clinic or pharmacy. Ringworm is easily treatable and not related to cleanliness. Your cooperation is appreciated.
